9:05 - 11:00	The Volkswagen litigation has caused many plaintiffs firms to file their first consumer class action lawsuits.  As such, there will be a number of firms looking for practical advice and wisdom concerning when and if to file a complaint and how to navigate the MDL and steering committee processes.
11:15 - 12:15	The Panel will address gathering evidence outside the discovery process (domestic & international), coordinating with other plaintiffs' counsel, the need for acquiring contact information of other VW owners, and ideal number and ideal characteristics of lead plaintiffs.

1:30 - 3:30	The afternoon session will address how this class action differs from other consumer class actions, what to expect as the case progresses, qualifications for the steering committee in this case, the division of work, likely venue, common fund, strategy throughout the discovery process, ADR, and probable resolutions/outcomes.
