Criminal Trade Secret Theft 2017 webinar

As cybersecurity and economic espionage increasingly occupy headlines and C-suite meetings, trade secret disputes that once were dealt with mainly through civil litigation are ever more likely to turn into criminal investigations.  Joshua Robbins, a former federal cybercrime prosecutor, will discuss the substantive and strategic aspects of criminal trade secrets cases, with an emphasis on hidden dangers that may catch even experienced intellectual property litigators unaware.

Joshua Robbins, the chair of Greenberg Gross’s White Collar Defense and Government Investigations Department, has represented the governments of the United States and other sovereign nations, Global 500 and Fortune 500 corporations, and individuals in jury trials, appeals before federal circuit courts and the United States Supreme Court, international arbitrations, and complex government investigations.  He has been lead trial counsel in numerous high-profile cases involving hundreds of millions of dollars at issue and significant national and international public attention, including matters reported in the Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, CNBC, the Investigation Discovery channel, and Forbes.com.

Before joining Greenberg Gross, Mr. Robbins served for nearly seven years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Central District of California.
