FACULTY

Andre M. Mura is a Partner with Gibbs Law Group where he represents plaintiffs in class actions and mass torts including in the areas of consumer protection, privacy, and products liability. Before joining Gibbs Law Group, Andre was senior litigation counsel at the Center for Constitutional Litigation PC, where he represented plaintiffs in high-stakes appeals in state supreme courts and federal appellate courts.

Andre has been honored twice with a California Lawyer Attorney of the Year Award: in 2023 for his involvement and success at trial in Patz v. City of San Diego, and in 2019 for his work in the California Supreme Court in De La Torre v. CashCall. He is on the Board of the Civil Justice Research Initiative of Berkeley Law, a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, a member of the Lawyers Committee of the National Center for State Courts, a Trustee of the National Civil Justice Institute, past Chair of the American Association for Justice’s LGBT Caucus, past Trustee of the National College of Advocacy, and a member of Williams College’s Latino/a and BiGLATA Alumni Network.


Sean Phillips Rodriguez is a Partner with Boies Schiller Flexner where he practices primarily in complex commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on antitrust, intellectual property, technology, and finance.  He is currently litigating against Google in two consumer privacy class actions and is actively involved in representing multiple clients in connection with various state, national, and international investigations of Google’s anticompetitive tactics.

Sean also successfully represented hundreds of thousands of workers in a wage-fixing class action that resulted in 2019 in one of the largest wage recoveries in years, and he is a regular speaker on class action issues.

This program is approved for 1.5 hrs of CA MCLE general credt hours.

Bridgeport is a State Bar of CA provider of MCLE (Provider 11872) This program offers 1.5 hrs of MCLE. Bridgeport will assist attorneys from outside CA obtain CLE in accordance with the rules of their state.
