Negotiating and Drafting Enforceable Employment Agreements in California

In this webinar, our expert faculty will teach you the basics of negotiating and drafting enforceable employment agreements in California – from how the provisions of an agreement fit together, to the fundamental negotiating and drafting principles common to all employment agreements, including defining the terms and conditions of employment, the circumstances in which employment will be terminated, protecting employer’s intellectual property and trade secrets from unfair competition, and defining the forum and mechanism for resolving employment disputes.   You will gain an understanding of why and where the tough issues usually arise during the drafting phase, as well as what you can do to effectively, and creatively, solve those issues.  Plus, you will obtain perspectives from defense and plaintiff counsel on how to draft contracts with enforcement in mind, and learn about common ethical issues related thereto.  This webinar is essential for practitioners and in-house counsel who negotiate and draft employment agreements.
